Notes from the Journey

Welcome to the page I loosely label as “Consultants for Community Development”  (CCD).  I say ‘loosely’ because the plan at this point is to throw anything onto this page that has anything to do with any of my professional activities.  Which is to say that in spare moments when I get around to populating the blog with words, information, and images, it is likely to include not only the low-profit work we do under the name of CCD, but also the purely nonprofit activities we do with educational and public projects in Guatemala with ACEBAR and MayaCREW.  And again, in those infrequent moments when I can get around to it, I’ll throw in some thoughts and updates and perhaps at some point even some fiction (confidentiality and reasonable ethics rule out writing nonfiction) relating to my paying day job as a social worker.

For the moment, however, I’m just battling barriers associated with lack of time and motivation, as well as technical ignorance of WordPress and web design in general.  I’m thinking it will  be a long battle, but maybe in the end dedication and inspiration will prevail, and I’ll have something of interest here.  If you happen to have blundered here looking for a post that used to be at this URL,  you may be able to find it at my equally poorly maintained and infrequently used personal blog at maxkintner.com.
